Stolberg was named Assistant Tight Ends Coach in March of 2025, joining head coach Alex Golesh’s third staff at South Florida.

Stolberg arrived at USF following a return to his alma mater, Butler Community College, where he served as quarterbacks coach during the 2024 season. In his first full-time on-field role, Stolberg was responsible for mentoring a young quarterback room.

Prior to his return to Butler, Stolberg spent the 2023 offseason with Missouri Western as an offensive assistant before being hired by Butler.
In 2021 and 2022, he was part of the support staff at Mississippi State, where he worked under head coach Mike Leach.

Stolberg began his coaching journey shortly after concluding a playing career that included stops at Louisiana Tech, Butler Community College, and Mississippi State. At Butler, he appeared in four games across two seasons (2018–19) and was part of back-to-back Midwest Classic Bowl-winning teams. After transferring to Mississippi State, he joined the Bulldogs’ roster while finishing his degree and gaining behind-the-scenes experience in an SEC program.

A New Orleans native, Stolberg prepped at Fontainebleau High School (La.) under head coach Chris Blocker. As a senior, he passed for 2,500 yards and 26 touchdowns while rushing for 400 yards and three more scores, earning the program’s Bulldog Pride Award. He received Florida Class 5A All-District honors and was recognized for his leadership and accuracy in the passing game.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State in 2021 and was named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll during the 2020 season.

Stolberg is the son of April Taylor and Bernard Stolberg and has four younger siblings: Zach, Ella, Cooper and Cecelia. He was born on December 16, 1998, in New Orleans, La.
