Nick Kilcourse joined USF Athletics in September 2026 as Assistant Director of Athletics Communications. He serves as the primary communications contact for men’s soccer, men’s golf, track and field/cross country and sailing.
Nick handles media relations, digital content, and publicity for his sports. That covers everything from press releases, feature stories, game previews and recaps to running media operations and stats. His focus is telling the stories of USF’s student-athletes and coaches and getting them in front of fans.
Before this role, Nick was a graduate assistant in USF Athletics Communications, working mostly with the men’s and women’s golf teams. He also completed a Creative and Marketing Fellowship with the Tampa Bay Lightning. There he worked on marketing campaigns, fan engagement, and game-day operations, and he spent part of the season as a Media Assistant with the Lightning’s communications team.
Nick is a U.S. Army veteran who served before moving into college athletics. He holds two graduate degrees from the University of South Florida, an MBA and a master’s in Sport and Entertainment Management.
