Noel Tuvera

Noel Tuvera enters his first year at the University of South Florida as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. His primary sport responsibility is Football. In this role, he provides injury evaluation, therapeutic intervention strategies, and collaborative sports medicine care for the athletes under her care.

Noel comes to USF after two years as a Seasonal Athletic Trainer with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the Bucs, Noel oversaw summer intern roles and responsibilities and facilitated transportation of sports medicine equipment during travel included the Bucs game played in Germany last year. Additionally, he developed daily rehabilitation plans and conducted muscular performance testing of players.

Prior to arriving in Tampa, the New Jersey native completed a Seasonal Student Athletic Training Internship with the New York Jets. While there, Noel performed rehabilitation modalities and equipment stocking.

Noel earned his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University before earning his Master’s of Science in Athletic Training from Seton Hall University. Noel is a BOC Certified Athletic trainer and Florida Licensed Athletic Trainer. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and holds additional certifications in Dry Needling and Graston techniques.

Noel currently resides in Tampa, Florida. He enjoys spending time with his fiancée, powerlifting, and exploring Tampa.
