Sean Tidmus

Sean Tidmus was promoted to Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in January of 2021. Tidmus is currently assigned to the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, and Sailing teams designing and implementing overall strength and conditioning programs, as well as off-season speed and agility programs. Tidmus has coached 4 All Americans, 12 NCAA Final Qualifiers, 35 NCAA Regional Qualifiers and 15 Conference Champions while at USF.

In 2018, Tidmus began his Strength and Conditioning career at USF as an Intern assisting with Football as well as, Baseball, Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, and Cross Country. In the summer of 2018, he was promoted to part-time Strength Coach and assigned to the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Sailing teams.

Prior to working at USF, Tidmus was a Deputy Sheriff in Orange County, Florida where he served from 2014-2017.

A native of Winter Garden, Florida, Tidmus attended Florida State University where he played Football from 2009-2013, winning the ACC Championship and Orange bowl his senior year. Tidmus graduated from FSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology.

Tidmus lives in Tampa Florida with his Wife, Merrilyn, and their dogs, Sampson and Odin.
