Tiffany Jacobs serves as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at USF, covering women’s soccer, women’s tennis, and beach volleyball, a role she began in February 2026. In this position, she manages all media relations, including writing press releases, match previews and recaps, and feature stories; oversees live statistics, official scoring, and game-day operations for home contests; maintains and updates the athletic department website; develops and executes social media strategies to highlight student-athlete achievements; coordinates with conference and national offices for reporting; supports coaches and student-athletes with publicity and award nominations; and compiles media guides, record books, and statistical archives.
Jacobs brings extensive experience in collegiate athletics communications. She previously served as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Florida Tech from 2022 to 2023, where she was the primary contact for men’s soccer, women’s basketball, and softball. During graduate school, she interned with the University of Florida softball program and with ESPN Gainesville, producing press releases and creating audio transcripts for 98.1 FM WRUF in 2022. She also gained early experience as a communications assistant at the University of Tampa in 2019 and volunteered at high-profile events including the 2016 NCAA Football National Championship and the 2019 Women’s Final Four in Tampa.
Jacobs earned her Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Communications from Saint Leo University in 2019 and her Master of Science in Sports Management from the University of Florida in 2022.
