Whitney Jones serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in USF’s Athletic Medicine department, a role she began in September 2024. She provides primary coverage for the cross country teams and secondary coverage for track & field, supporting athlete health, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

Jones previously completed a fellowship at Brigham Young University from 2022 to 2024 and worked as an Athletic Trainer at Intermountain Healthcare in 2022. She earned both her Master of Athletic Training and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in 2022. Jones is originally from Arvada, Colorado
