The University of South Florida men's basketball team concludes its 2006-07 campaign at DePaul on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET. The Bulls will wrap up regular season play on the road for the first time since 2002-03. The matchup with the Blue Demons is the second in less than two weeks between the two programs and will be featured live on ESPN360. Dave Kaplan (play-by-play) and Jeff Friedman (analyst) will have the call from Allstate Arena. As part of a free preview, the game will be available to anyone with a broadband connection.
Saturday's Game Marks Finale For Seniors
Saturday's game will conclude the careers of seniors Melvin Buckley (Chicago native), Chris Capko, McHugh Mattis and Melvyn Richardson.
Bulls Hoping For Finish Similar To 2005-06
In 2005-06, the Bulls were one of 11 programs in the nation to conclude the year with a victory.
Last season's regular season finale in the first week of March produced a victory over nationally ranked Georgetown at the Sun Dome. Unable to qualify for the league tournament for the second-straight season, USF again has the rare opportunity to cap the campaign with a win.
The Bulls will also be looking to snap an extended losing skid with a positive result. The victory over the Hoyas last Spring ended a 17-game slide and a win over DePaul on Saturday would end USF's current six-game losing streak.
