ATLANTA, Ga. ? The No. 1-ranked and defending National Champion Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-0) snapped the University of South Florida women's tennis teams' six-match win-streak Saturday afternoon at the Bill Moore Tennis Center, on the Georgia Tech campus.
With the loss, USF (6-1) still leads the all-time series with Tech, holding a 4-2 advantage. The Bulls have not beaten the Yellow Jackets in Atlanta since the 1991 season.
The Bulls will look to get back on the win track when they travel up the road to face the No. 5-ranked University of Georgia Bulldogs, Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m at the Lindsay Hopkins Indoor Facility. The Bulldogs (1-0) are coming off a 7-0 win against East Tennessee State.
