On the game against FIU... 
I think coming back from the Virgin Islands we had three practices. I think our kids had a lot on their minds with finals next week and this being the last week of class. It showed in the first half. We didn't shoot the ball well. We didn't defend well. What I was most concerned with was that we didn't rebound very well. I think that in the second half we came out with a lot of energy. We created tempo and we pushed the ball. We got a lot of points off of our defense. That was very good.

On the defense in the second half... 
If you look at our minutes, I think they were pretty balanced except Sepulveda played 34 minutes. Everybody else was 14 or 15 or higher. I think our minutes were distributed well. I think we got a lot of energy in the second half, which was good to see.

On how she felt tonight... 
I felt good out there. I felt comfortable being back home. I just felt comfortable out there.

On how the team performed... 
I think that we just started off slow. We weren't pressuring the ball at first. We had no energy, basically. During halftime, coach let us know they we needed to come out and play harder. I think in the second half is when we actually started to play our game.
