TAMPA ? A production crew for ESPN College Gameday will be shooting footage on the main University of South Florida campus Tuesday, May 20.

The country music band Big and Rich will be taping a live performance of Gameday's intro song, “Coming to your city.”  The shoot will take place from approximately 2-5 p.m. at The “Meadow” located at 50th and Holly Drive on campus.

The production crew is hoping to have 1,500 students and fans at the shoot to serve as extras. Extras are asked to wear standard outdoor concert apparel.

While the intro for the 2008 College Gameday season will be shot on the USF campus, it will not directly feature the Bulls' faithful. USF fans will have the opportunity to have a strong presence by turning out in large numbers for tomorrow taping.

Between 1-5 p.m., University Police will close down Holly Drive between 50th Street and Maple Drive.  Event traffic will be directed from 50th Street to Elm Street with event parking along Sycamore Drive in Park-N-Ride lot 18B and lot 6 behind the Sun Dome. 

USF Bull Runner Routes A and E along Sycamore will remain in full service during the shoot.   The commercial shoot is scheduled to begin at 2pm and end near 5pm. During these start and end times traffic along 50th and Elm streets and Bull Run are expected to become moderate to heavy with possible traffic delays.
