? Up Next: The Bulls will play the third game of a three-game road trip when they wrap up a Midwest swing at West Virginia on Saturday, Jan. 17, at Noon. The game is the BIG EAST Network Game of the Week and can be seen locally in Tampa on WFTS ABC and in numerous other East and Midwest markets. ? Sophomore guard Dominique Jones and freshman forward Augustus Gilchrist each tallied a game-high 22 points for USF.
? The 22 points for Gilchrist were a career high, besting his previous high of 16 set 1/10 at DePaul last game. He has scored in double figures in three straight games and in five out of 10 career games. He also played a career high 32 minutes and added two blocked shots. Gilchrist is 16-23 from the field combined the past two games.
? It was the second straight game with 22 points for Jones and the seventh game this season he has scored 20 or more points. He now has 17 career games with 20 or more points. Jones also set a season high and tied his career high with seven assists, set last season vs. Winston-Salem State (12/29/07).
? Junior guard Chris Howard went his second straight road game without a turnover. He had 13 points, three assists and a steal in 39 minutes of action. He had 12 points, 10 assists and no turnovers at DePaul last game.
? With 22 points, Dominique Jones went over the 800 career point mark. He has 808 career points which ranks 31st on the all-time USF scoring list.
