
Bulls Pick Up Best Finish Of Season At Waterlefe Invite.

TAMPA- The University of South Florida women's golf team has its best finish of the 2009 season after taking third place at the USF Waterlefe Invitational.
The Bulls started the tournament in first place after the opening round, and have held onto third through the final 36 holes.
Shena Yang, the Bulls' talented freshman picked up the best individual performance of her young career by taking home second place.
Yang shot a career low of 66 in the second round on Monday, and the second place finish is also the best among all USF individual finishes this season.
The Bulls got another impressive tournament out of another freshman, Jennifer Neville. Neville shot an opening round 68 which put her in first place individually after the opening 18 holes.
Neville finished in sixth place which is the best finish of her career to date.
Two another Bulls, Rachel Edwards and Ana Lopez, finished in the top 30, while Emily Van Etten finished in the top 50 to round out the Bulls first squad.
The Bulls had the opportunity to have two teams compete in the tournament that they hosted in Bradenton, and that group picked up a wealth of tournament experience finishing in 15th place as a team.
Ploi Desjubha led the Bulls' second squad by finishing 61st after firing an opening round 75 and finishing her tournament with a 78 today.
Nova Southeastern picked up the tournament victory by shooting 877 as a team behind the superb play of individual champion Taylor Collins who shot 6-under for the tournament.
The Bulls are off until they travel to Fort Myers, Fla. To compete in the Pat Bradley Invitational.
