TAMPA - The University of South Florida has released the schedule for the Stan Heath Show, to be aired by Bright House Sports Network throughout the 2009-10 season.
The show, hosted by Jim Lighthall, begins on December 10 and will be shown on BHSN Thursday nights at 5:30 p.m. throughout the winter.
In the first episode, Heath and Lighthall will recap the first eight outings of the season as well as set the scene for the games against Central Michigan (Dec. 13) and UCF (Dec. 16).

The USF men's basketball team has opened the season with a 7-1 record, tying the program's best start since the 2006-07 season. Including this year, USF gotten off to a 7-1 start eight times: 1981-82, 1982-83, 1990-91, 1991-92, 1998-99, 2001-02, 2006-07. 2009-10.
Sophomore forward Augustus Gilchrist is leading the team with his 18.8 points per game and is second on the squad with 7.4 rebounds per contest. Junior Jarrid Famous adds a team-best 7.6 rebounds per outing and has the third-most points with 11.5 per game, while junior Dominique Jones is second in scoring (16.4 ppg) and third in rebounds (6.3 rpg).
After a 10-day break due to finals week, the Bulls wrap up a five-game homestand with Central Michigan and UCF before heading to Nevada for the Las Vegas Holiday Classic on Dec. 19-20.
USF opens the BIG EAST portion of the schedule on the road against Louisville, then returns to the Sun Dome to face Notre Dame on Jan. 5 at 7 p.m., a game that will be broadcast on ESPNU.
