TAMPA - University of South Florida men's basketball head coach Stan Heath has been named to the BIG EAST First Team All-Twitter, released by Digital Hoops Blast, a respected blog by Nike Director of Brand Marketing Andy Pawlowski.

Pawlowski rated the conference's top users of Twitter, recognizing the coach, school or conference official who is "doing an amazing job of sharing original insights. I'm looking for that perfect balance of quality and quantity. "

"USF Coach Stan Heath is extremely active on Twitter, and does a nice job of dropping insight into what's next for the squad," said Pawlowski.

Marquette Athletics was chosen the Twitterer of the Year while Coach Heath, St. John's Men's Basketball, Providence Head Coach Keno Davis and Providence Assistant Coach Rodell Davis were selected to the first team.

Big East Conference Honorable Mention All-Twitter honorees are Marquette Superfans, Syracuse Assistant Coach Rob Murphy, Syracuse Assistant Coach Mike Hopkins, Rutgers Head Coach Fred Hill and Notre Dame Head Coach Mike Brey.
