For the first time since it's conception in 2007, the USF Our Shirt will be included on the 2010-2011 Student Body Elections ballot beginning Tuesday, February 23rd. All USF students will have the opportunity to vote on one of the two submitted designs to determine which will be chosen for the 2010 Our Shirt.

History of the Our Shirt
The Our Shirt Campaign began as an idea to draw attention to the student section during football games. Originally, the campaign included two shirts of the same design in green and gold. The design team, which was comprised of a number of professionals from the athletics department, in addition to a few student leaders, revised the design several times before ultimately deciding to produce just one shirt to be worn at all games, and the Our Shirt Campaign was born.
The initial cost of the production for the first 10,000 shirts was absorbed by Student Government and Athletics. The budget was approved for the Our Shirt Campaign on April 6, 2007, and production by Helinger Advertising in St. Pete began.
During the first year of production, more than 13,000 shirts were sold to the students and members of the USF Community. The explosion of popularity for Our Shirt was quickly evident, as the shirt became the staple uniform for the true USF fan. These inaugural shirts were easily identifiable in any crowd. No matter where you went, Our Shirt couldn't be far away. And so began this new USF tradition.
