The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. Photo Name: Baseball vs UConn 1968 The teams may meet on a regular basis now as members of the BIG EAST, but back in 1968, the third year of existence for the baseball team, USF and UConn met for two games April 6 and April 12 in Tampa, with the Huskies winning the first game, 10-5, before USF came back to take Game 2, 6-3.
