Photo Name: Inflating the Sun Dome
Despite what it looks like now, the Sun Dome did not always have a concrete roof, as it used to be an inflatable roof, which allowed for sunlight to come through, even at times during the summer when concerts would kick off in the early evening hours. USF replaced that inflatable roof with a concrete one just a few years ago and will soon clean the roof to return it to its original sparkling white color.
