What is the Varsity Club? The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida.

Photo Name: 1972 Scrimmage It was a different era with different uniforms and clearly a different arena, but it was still basketball, as is the case here in this picture from a 1972 basketball scrimmage as fans sat in folding chairs to watch the game, years before the Sun Dome was built. Even the cheerleader uniforms had a different feel to them in this typical 70s apparel, but the school, still in its infancy, was still just beginning to build that early history in the early 70s.
