The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. Photo Name: 2008 Champions They proudly walked around the USF Soccer Stadium holding the sign that read "2008 Champion" and hoisting the trophies up high that proclaimed the USF men's soccer team the 2008 BIG EAST tournament champion. The players put in the extra work to get to that point, getting an overtime goal to defeat St. John's 1-0 in the championship game before eventually reaching the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament.
