The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. Photo Name: Matt Grothe Fan Favorite He was a fan favorite during his time at USF, as Matt Grothe concluded his collegiate career with the Bulls following the 2010 season. Fans were always lined up to get his autograph, like here at the 2009 Spring Game as Grothe gets ready to sign a football helmet for one of those fans. Luckily for Bulls supporters, they will be able to catch Grothe some more without having to go very far, as he signed with the Florida Tuskers of the UFL late last week.
