The Lowdown
USF returns to the Sun Dome on Wednesday, for the first of two straight games, to face St. John's ... The Bulls will close out the short two-game stretch on Saturday afternoon when Louisville comes to Tampa ... This is the first back-to-back home series that USF will have played since Dec. 12 and Dec. 14 when the Bulls took on North Florida (W, 68-35) and Wake Forest (W, 65-54), respectively ... Following the game with the Cardinals on Saturday, USF will play two of its final three games on the road, at Rutgers (Feb. 23, 7:30 p.m.), at Villanova (Feb. 26, Noon), and the return home for its regular season finale on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. against Georgetown ... Andrea Smith continues to lead USF in scoring averaging 16.6 points per game while Porche Grant is leading the way on the glass grabbing 9.1 per outing.

USF and St. John's meet for the sixth time on Wednesday with St. John's leading the all-time series 3-2 dating back to the first-ever meeting on Feb. 5, 2006 in New York (STJ, 78-71 win) ... St. John's comes into Wednesday's game with the Bulls with a 17-7 record and a 6-5 slate in BIG EAST play ... The Red Storm is coming off a 75-71 overtime win over Georgetown on Feb. 13 ... That victory was St. John's third win in its last four games, and fifth in its last seven ... The Red Storm, however, have dropped six of their last 11 games after starting the year 12-1 ... Shenneika Smith leads two players in double figures averaging 13.5 points per game while Da'Shena Stevens is second scoring at a 12.0 point per game clip and grabbing a team-high 6.7 rebounds per game.
Last Time Out
The Bulls are coming off a heartbreaking 70-66 loss at Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon in the "Steel City" ... USF held an 11-point second half lead, however could not hold on down the stretch ... Andrell Smith led four Bulls in double figures with 16 points while Akila McDonald and Leondra Doomes-Stephens added a career-high 15 and 11 points, respectively ... Andrell Smith chipped in with 10 points in the loss ... McDonald also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
