By TOM ZEBOLD

USF Senior Writer

TAMPA - Maikon Bonani's third extra point of Saturday's game helped him become USF's new scoring king.

The senior kicker has surpassed USF's previous career scoring record held by Santiago Gramatica (246 points - 38 FG, 132 PAT) from 2001-04.

Other notable USF records that belong to Bonani include field goals made (51), extra points made in a single game (10 vs. FAMU in 2011), as well as single season and career field goal percentages (81.0, 75.0).
