TAMPA - Nicole McClure's bags are packed for another soccer journey.
USF's former star keeper will travel from her home in New York all the way to Switzerland on Wednesday night to join FC Neunkirch, a semi-pro team that eventually places players on pro teams in other countries.
"The plan is to stay there for half a season and join a pro team in January," McClure said.
This will be McClure's second team since graduating from USF in 2011. She recently wrapped up a season in Iceland, where she played with former Bulls teammate Valorie O'Brien for Selfoss.
"I had a great time. The people over there in Iceland are very friendly and the entire country is beautiful," McClure said.
McClure knows making another pro team will ultimately be up to her and she's embracing another experience far away from home.
"My mentality is to do my job and take it from there - one practice at a time and one game at a time," she said.
McClure gained the attention of pro scouts in two seasons with the Bulls after transferring in from the University of Hawaii. She posted 11 shutouts and started 40 times for USF.
