
Bulls Fall to Louisville on the Road, 3-0

By SEAN BAROWS GoUSFBulls.com TAMPA- The USF women's soccer team was unable to get going against the American Athletic Conference co-favorite Louisville on Friday night and fell on the road to the Cardinals, 3-0. The Bulls (7-3-3, 2-2-0) outshot Louisville 9-8 on the night but were unable to find the back of the net for only the second time this season. The Cardinals (9-3-1, 5-0-0) took an early lead in the ninth minute off a goal from Charlyn Corral. It was her 12th goal of the season which ranks first in the American Athletic Conference. USF came out strong in the second half with three shots in the first three minutes of play but were unable to find the equalizer. In the 76th minute the Cardinals struck again with a goal from Christine Exeter to make it 2-0, and another goal just over a minute later put the match out of reach. Sharla Passariello led USF on the offensive end with five shots while Demi Stokes added three of her own for the Bulls. The Bulls will look to bounce back on Sunday afternoon when they take on Cincinnati at 1 p.m. Live stats for the match can be viewed on GoUSFBulls.com.
