Bulls Ranked 30th in USA Today Preseason Poll
October 30, 2013 | Women's Basketball, Student Zone
Just months after finishing the 2012-13 season with 35 votes in the WBCA Top 25 poll, the USF women's basketball team picked up steam in the national conversation, earning 37 votes in the USA Today Preseason poll, ranking 30th nationally.
The Bulls will have plenty of opportunity to earn a spot in the Top 25 for the first time in school history, as USF plays a Top-25 opponent six times this season, including three home games against top tier rated teams.
USF opens the season Friday, Nov. 8 against No. 6 Maryland, and will travel to face No. 24 Oklahoma State on Dec. 14. The Bulls will then face off with No. 5 Louisville and No. 1 Connecticut twice on national television in January and February, during the course of The American Athletic Conference season.
