TAMPAStiven Salinas produced a go-ahead goal in the first half before the shorthanded Bulls toughed out a 1-1 double-overtime tie with Michigan before a crowd of 1,846 in Ann Arbor on Friday night.

Salinas found the net for the first time this season in the 27th minute with an assist coming from Wesley Charpie before the Bulls managed a tie despite playing a man down for a good portion of the match.

Brentton Muhammad posted six saves in his second consecutive start after helping USF (1-0-2) shut out Stetson on Monday night at Corbett Stadium.

TJ Van Slooten scored the equalizer for Michigan in the 62nd minute.  The Wolverines (1-0-2) were looking to avenge last season's 2-1 loss to the Bulls in a game that was aired live on Fox Soccer Channel and drew a Corbett Stadium regular-season record crowd of 3,076.

The Bulls get another tough Big Ten test on Thursday, Sept. 12 when they face Wisconsin back at Corbett Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Purchase tickets HERE.
