TAMPA – Stiven Salinas produced a go-ahead goal in the first half before the shorthanded Bulls toughed out a 1-1 double-overtime tie with Michigan before a crowd of 1,846 in Ann Arbor on Friday night.

Salinas found the net for the first time this season in the 27^th minute with an assist coming from Wesley Charpie before the Bulls managed a tie despite playing a man down for a good portion of the match.

Brentton Muhammad posted six saves in his second consecutive start after helping USF (1-0-2) shut out Stetson on Monday night at Corbett Stadium.

TJ Van Slooten scored the equalizer for Michigan in the 62^nd minute.  The Wolverines (1-0-2) were looking to avenge last season's 2-1 loss to the Bulls in a game that was aired live on Fox Soccer Channel and drew a Corbett Stadium regular-season record crowd of 3,076.

The Bulls get another tough Big Ten test on Thursday, Sept. 12 when they face Wisconsin back at Corbett Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Purchase tickets HERE.
