TAMPA, FEB. 24, 2014 – Take a look ahead at the week in USF Athletics and catch up on last week's action:

Baseball (7-0)

This Week: The Bulls are back in action 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Stetson before returning to USF Baseball Stadium to host Columbia in a four-game series that begins at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Last Week: USF defeated FGCU, 5-1, Feb. 18 in Fort Myers and went on to complete a three-game sweep of Penn State over the weekend while outscoring the Nittany Lions, 36-13, at USF Baseball Stadium.

Need to Know: The Bulls (7-0) are off to their best start since opening the 1982 season with an 8-0 record.

Softball (8-5)

This Week: The Bulls will play games at USF Softball Stadium and the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater during this weekend's Under Armour Invitational. USF will face Stanford 2:15 p.m. Friday and finishes the first day of competition against Central Arkansas at 4:30 p.m. at USF Softball Stadium. USF heads to Clearwater on Saturday to take on St. Bonaventure (2:15 p.m.) and Loyola Marymount (4:30 p.m.). The Bulls return to USF Softball Stadium on Sunday to host Villanova (3:30 p.m.) and Maine (5:30 p.m.).

Last Week: The Bulls went 4-1 at the NFCA Lead-Off Classic in Clearwater. USF started with a 5-0 win over Illinois State on Feb. 21 and continued with a 3-0 win over James Madison and an 8-5 victory over No. 22/20 Louisiana-Lafayette on Feb. 22. The Bulls dropped a 7-1 decision against Hofstra and bounced back with a 6-2 win over College of Charleston on Feb. 23.

Need to Know: Erica Nunn and Sara Nevins combined to throw a no-hitter against Illinois State. Nevins was named American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive time on Monday.

Women's Basketball (15-11, 10-5)

This Week: The Bulls host Memphis 7 p.m. Tuesday and stay at the Sun Dome to face SMU 7 p.m. Saturday in their final home game of the regular season.

Last Week: USF posted a 2-0 week on the road after defeating Cincinnati, 62-43, on Feb. 19 and Temple, 72-69, on Feb. 22.

Need to Know: Sophomore guard Courtney Williams scored a career-high 35 points and senior guard Inga Orekhova passed the 900-point mark at Temple. Williams was named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

Men's Basketball (12-15, 3-11)

This Week: The Bulls return to the Sun Dome to host No. 21 UConn 7 p.m. Wednesday before hitting the road to face Rutgers on Saturday at noon.

Last Week: Senior Victor Rudd scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 80-54 loss at No. 11/5 Louisville on Feb. 18.

Need to Know: Rudd was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

No. 61 Women's Tennis (6-3)

This Week: USF heads to San Diego for matches against San Diego State 5 p.m. Thursday and USD 1 p.m. Saturday.

Last Week: The Bulls picked up their first conference win by defeating UCF, 6-1, Feb. 19 in Orlando. USF finished its week with a 6-1 home victory over Missouri on Feb. 23.

No. 56 Men's Tennis

This Week: USF travels to Tallahassee to face No. 30 Florida State on Saturday at noon.

Last Week: The Bulls played a pair of matches in Columbia, S.C., dropping a 6-1 decision against No. 31 South Carolina on Feb. 21 before falling to No. 44 San Diego, 4-3, on Feb. 22.

Track and Field

This Week: The Bulls will chase after a league title Friday and Saturday at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships in New York.

Last Week: USF took a week off from competition.

No. 14 Men's Golf

This Week: The Bulls host the USF Invitational Sunday through Tuesday in Dade City.

Last Week: Junior Joseph Winslow tied for 10th place at 4 under in his debut as a Bull at the Bayou City Collegiate Championship Feb. 23 in Texas. The Bulls also finished in 10th place.
