
USF Welcomes Shick as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance

TAMPA, AUG. 6, 2014 – University of South Florida Athletics has announced the addition of Ralph Shick as the new Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance.
Shick previously served as the Director of Athletic Compliance at Florida State University since 2013 and was the primary compliance contact for the Seminoles' baseball and men's
and women's tennis programs. Shick also served as the Assistant Director of Athletic Compliance at the University of Southern California for two years after getting his start as an athletic compliance graduate assistant at Northern Illinois University, where he earned a Master of Science degree in sports management.
Shick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sports administration at the University of Miami, where he gained athletics experience as a sports information intern after working as a game operations intern for the Miami Dolphins.
Shick will primarily be responsible for USF Athletics' rules education program and he'll play a key role in the management of the of the compliance office. Shick provided assistance with developing and implementing a comprehensive rules education program at both Florida State and USC.
