TAMPA (Oct. 18, 2017) — The University of South Florida women's soccer will return to Corbett for its Mental Health Awareness Match against Temple on Thursday at 7 p.m. The first 100 fans at the game will receive a "Bulls Strong" t-shirt.

The Bulls had a week off after improving to 5-1 in conference play with wins over SMU (3-2) and Houston (3-0) two weeks ago. USF is receiving votes for the first time this season in the most recent United Soccer Coaches poll.

USF's scoring offense is currently 20th in the country (28 goals, 2.33 per game). Sophomore forward Evelyne Viens (L'ancienne-Lorette, Canada) ranks No. 4 nationally in points per game at 2.08, and checks in at No. 7 for shots on goal per game with 2.50.

The Opponent
The Bulls last saw the Owls last season in Philadelphia, when USF senior defender Grace Adams (Accra, Ghana) scored in double overtime to defeat Temple, 1-0. USF is undefeated against Temple in four matches dating back to 2014.

Like USF, Temple's last two games were against Houston and SMU. The Owls shut out Houston, 2-0, before facing the wrong side of that score against SMU, losing 2-0. Temple's other conference win was its conference opener at home, 1-0, over ECU. After the Owls' match in Tampa, they will take on UCF in Orlando before closing their season at UConn.
