— The USF women's soccer team (9-3-0, 4-1-0) extended its win streak to four games with a 4-0 shutout over Houston Sunday afternoon. Sophomore forward
Evelyne Viens (L'ancienne-Lorette, Canada) scored twice for the Bulls, and junior
Hanna Seybold scored her first career goal at USF.

Viens put the Bulls on the board in the 26
th minute when her lengthy shot from outside the box bested the Houston keeper. Sophomore
Kelli Burney (Bealeton, Va.) was credited with an assist.

In the 39
th minute, the Cougars would get a chance to settle the score with a penalty kick, but senior keeper
Kat Elliott (Bradenton, Fla.) got the save to keep Houston scoreless.

As the two teams neared half-time, junior transfer
Hanna Seybold (Tampa) netted her first career goal at USF in the 42
nd minute with a long ball from the right corner, outside the 18-yard box. Sophomore
Andrea Hauksdottir (Kopavogur, Iceland) made the goal possible and earned an assist on the play.

In the 55
th minute, Viens scored her 25
th career goal and ninth for the season. Viens got a pass from sophomore midfielder Hauksdottir and broke away from the defense, taking the ball straight to the goal.

Leading 3-0, USF would score one more. With just over 72
nd minute, sophomore forward
Aubrey Megrath (West Palm Beach, Fla.) Â put up a fourth goal for the Bulls with a breakaway after a pass by freshman
Chyanne Dennis (Sunrise, Fla.).

The USF women's soccer team has posted five consecutive seasons of 10-plus wins and six in the last seven years under head coach Denise Schilte-Brown. Schilte-Brown reached her 100th win with USF last season, and will begin her eleventh season as head coach in 2017. The Bulls made their first NCAA tournament appearance in 2010 and returned in 2014 & 2015.
