USF Faces Temple in Regular Season Finale
TAMPA, NOV. 3, 2017 – The University of South Florida men's soccer team will close out the regular season Saturday at Temple. The Bulls are playing for seeding in the American Athletic Conference Championship. The match is set for 7 p.m at the Temple Sports Complex.
USF (6-5-4, 3-1-2) has not lost a road match since Sept. 8 but the Bulls are searching for their first win after three-straight draws. In their last outing, the Bulls played to a 0-0 draw with SMU at Corbett Stadium. Junior goalkeeper
Christian Knight (Odessa, Fla.) turned in his third shutout of the season against the Mustangs and recorded 15 saves in 110 minutes of action. Knight's 15 saves in a single game are the second best performance in NCAA Division I this season.
The Bulls are led by
Adrian Billhardt (Berlin, Germany) this season with five goals and six assists. The freshman's 16 points rank sixth in the conference.
