Bulls in the NFL Update: Week 15

TAMPA, DEC. 18, 2017 – Eric Lee can call himself a division champion after helping the Patriots take control as the AFC's top seed.

Making his third straight start, the former star USF defensive end tied his career high with four tackles in AFC East champion New England's wild 27-24 win at Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Lee has had a big hand in the Patriots' recent success, racking up 14 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two pass breakups and an interception in four games (three starts). After being signed off the Buffalo Bills' practice squad, Lee has totaled four tackles in three different games for New England, which has won the AFC East in each of the past nine seasons.

Like in New England, Lee was a force in his senior season with the Bulls, serving as team captain and setting career highs with 45 tackles and 12 tackles for loss in 2015. The all-conference selection helped put USF back on its winning path during the 8-5 run in 2015 that saw the Bulls play in the Miami Beach Bowl, the first of three straight postseason appearances for the program.
