Bulls hold Bearcats scoreless for 88 minutes before a late corner kick gave Cincinnati the 1-0 advantage.
CINCINNATI, Ohio (Sept. 24, 2017) — The USF women's soccer team held conference opponent Cincinnati scoreless for 88 minutes, before falling, 1-0 Sunday afternoon.
The Bulls (5-3-0, 1-1-0 AAC) fought hard at Gettler stadium, but the Bearcats (7-1-2, 1-0-1 AAC) sent in a corner kick that curved in near post for the winning score.
USF keeper Kat Elliott (Bradenton, Fla.) had her best game of the season with eight saves, tying her career-high which she set last season in a 1-0 win over UConn.
