Women’s Soccer Welcomes Tulsa for Annual Pink Game

TAMPA (Sept. 30, 2017) — The University of South Florida women's soccer team will take on Tulsa for its annual pink game Sunday at 1 p.m. The first 500 fans at the game will receive a pink "Kick out Cancer" rally towel, and have a chance to participate in a silent auction for signed soccer gear from the team.

The Opponent
The Golden Hurricane are 3-8-2 this season with one conference win, a 3-2 overtime victory over SMU. The Bulls lead Tulsa, 2-1, in the all-time series. Last season, USF defeated Tulsa on the road, 3-2. The Golden Hurricane last took the pitch against UCF in Orlando, Fla. The Knights sailed past Tulsa, 6-1.

- Nine different Bulls have had scoring plays for USF this season, and 10 have tallied assists.
- Head coach Denise Schilte-Brown reached 200 career wins in the 2-1 win over ECU. Last year, Schilte-Brown notched her 100th win at USF against the Pirates, also a 2-1 win, at Corbett Stadium.

The USF women's soccer team has posted five consecutive seasons of 10-plus wins and six in the last seven years under head coach Denise Schilte-Brown. Schilte-Brown reached her 100th win with USF last season, and will begin her eleventh season as head coach in 2017. The Bulls made their first NCAA tournament appearance in 2010 and returned in 2014 & 2015.
