No. 24 Bulls Visit Tulsa and No. 15 Memphis
TAMPA, Oct. 10, 2018 – RV/No. 24 USF takes its final road trip of the regular season this week when it faces Tulsa on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET and No. 15/18 Memphis at 2 p.m. ET.
The Bulls (8-2-0, 3-1-0) have a two-game win streak going after defeating Cincinnati and ECU at home last weekend. USF has appeared in the United Soccer Coaches and/or Top Drawer Soccer rankings for seven straight weeks, and is receiving votes from the United Soccer Coaches while being ranked No. 24 by Top Drawer Soccer.
All-American
Evelyne Viens (Canada) currently leads the nation in goals per game (1.30) and points per game (3). After scoring her 13
th goal of the season against ECU on Sunday, the junior striker tied the USF record for career goals set at 41 by Siri Nordby, who played for the Bulls from 1997-2000. With four more goals, Viens will break the record for goals in a season set at 16, which she tied in her freshman season in 2015.
USF ranks in the top 10 in four categories and top 25 in four others. The Bulls are the current national leader in two, including scoring offense (3.30) and points per game (9.20). USF is eight in assists per game (2.60) and shots on goal per game (9.30).
Top Drawer Soccer lists two Bulls in its Top 100 players midseason rankings, and one in the Top 100 freshman midseason rankings. Viens ranks No. 6 and junior
Andrea Hauksdottir (Kopavogur, Iceland) ranks No. 56. Freshman
Sydny Nasello (Land O' Lakes, Fla.) checks in at No. 73.

USF heads to Tulsa to kick off its final road trip of the regular season. The Golden Hurricane is sixth in The American standings with a 2-2-0 record. The Golden Hurricane has conference wins over ECU (3-1) and SMU (3-2). The Bulls have seen Tulsa just three times in history, and lead the series 2-1-0.
Tulsa freshman Mia Darden has been an offensive force for the squad with a team-leading seven goals and 16 points. She also has two assists. Junior Ana Williams is tied in points with Darden. She has recorded six goals and four assists this season.
No. 15/18 Memphis (12-1-0, 4-0-0) // Sunday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m.
Memphis, the highest ranked team in the conference, sits at the top of The American standings. The Tigers are undefeated in the conference and have just one loss this season, to No. 23/19 Mississippi State. Memphis leads the conference in 10 categories, and is ranked within the top 10 nationally in six. The Tigers are ranked second in the nation in scoring offense (2.85), just behind the Bulls. Memphis is also second in shutout percentage at .769.
Tigers goalkeeper Elizabeth Moberg leads the nation in shutouts with 10. She has 1,180 minutes in goal, and just seven goals against. On offense, Memphis has three players with five goals or more including Samantha Murphy (9), Clarissa Larisey (8) and Jessica Lisi (5). USF leads the series against Memphis, 10-4-1, and won the matchup last season at home, 3-1.
