TAMPA, OCT. 9, 2018 – Mack Attack was back in a big way during Week 6 of the NFL season.

Marlon Mack returned from a hamstring injury and rushed for 89 yards on 12 carries (7.4 ypc) in the Indianapolis Colts' 42-34 loss to the New York Jets last Sunday. Back in the starting lineup, Mack also caught a pass for 4 yards and his 89 rushing yards mark the Colts' highest single-game total by a player this season.

"I'm glad to be back," Mack said in a Colts.com release. "I'm ready for next week, and hopefully I can help this team get a 'W.' I was just glad to be back and help this team out, and to do whatever I can to help."

Mack was sidelined for the season opener and missed Weeks 3-5 after re-aggravating his hamstring injury in the second game against the Washington Redskins. Through two games, Mack has 123 rushing yards on 22 attempts (5.6 ypc) with a long of 25 yards after using his smooth moves to produce a big gain that helped set up a Colts touchdown in the third quarter against the Jets.

Mack has 481 career rushing yards on 115 attempts (4.2 ypc) and three touchdown runs through his first 16 NFL regular season games dating back to 2017. Prior to being selected by the Colts in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the three-time first team all-conference selection eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards in all three of his seasons at USF before departing for the pros after his junior season.

Mack ranks second in USF history with 3,609 rushing yards, 4,107 all-purpose yards and 32 rushing touchdowns.
