Skublak Earns All-Region Honors

KANSAS CITY, Dec. 5, 2018Senior men's soccer player Tomasz Skublak earned third team All-East region honors, announced by the United Soccer Coaches on Wednesday. 
 
Skublak (Hamilton, Canada), a first team All-American Athletic Conference selection, netted 8 goals and added an assist for USF in the regular season, leading USF in goals scored. He also led the Bulls with game-winning goals this season with four, including two double-overtime golden goals. Skublak took 44 shots on the year with 18 coming on frame. 
 
The senior played in all 16 games in the green and gold this season and was twice named AAC Offensive Player of the Week. Skublak's team-leading eight goals is good enough for a third-place ranking in the league. He also earned two brace's this season, scoring two goals against Tulsa and another pair at Cincinnati.
 
Skublak is set to graduate from USF in the spring.

The Bulls concluded the 2018 regular season with a 7-8-2 overall record and  American Athletic Conference 4-1-2 mark. Senior striker was named first team all-conference while junior midfielder Alex Zis was named second team all-conference. Avionne Flanagan, a sophomore defender was named second team all-conference, while Henrique Gallina, freshman defender, was named to the All-Rookie team.
