Bulls Fall to Princeton, 4-3
TAMPA (March 21, 2018) — USF clinched the doubles point and won in the two and four spots in a 4-3 loss to Princeton Wednesday afternoon.
Senior
Peter Bertran (Santiago, Dominican Republic) defeated Ryan Seggerman at No. 2 singles in straight sets, 6-1, 7-6(0).
Sophomore
Pierre Luquet (Draguignan, France) also won on court four in straight sets, 7-6(5), 6-4.
Doubles duo Bertran and sophomore
Jakub Wojcik (Delray Beach, Fla.) defeated the Tiger's Luke Gamble and Damian Rodriguez in a tie breaker, 7-6 (0), to clinch the doubles point.
The Bulls started doubles strong with junior Alberto-Barroso-Campos (Montijo, Spain) and Luquet, winning on court two, 6-4.
Alberto Barroso-Campos won his first set in the premiere singles spot, but lost the match by retirement due to injury.
