Bulls Welcome No. 44 Rice for Senior Day Match
TAMPA (April 7, 2018) -- The USF women's tennis team hosts Rice for a Sunday match at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts where they will honor seniors
Juliana Cardoso (Descalvado, Brazil) and
Jessica Cortes Chaves (Monterrey, Mexico) . The ceremony starts before the match at 11:45 am.
The Bulls (11-8, 4-2) nine-game win streak was snapped Wednesday when they fell to UCF in the War on 1-4.
Junior
Vanja Klaric (Gaborone, Botswana) had the standout performance on Wednesday with a win on court four. That match pushed her win streak to nine giving her a 13-5 overall record.

No. 44 Rice
The Owls (11-7) are coming off a shutout loss against No. 22 UCF, 4-0. Before the loss, Rice was on a five-game winning streak.
With a 16-8 overall record at the No. 1 and 2 spots, No. 119 Wendy Zhang is the only ranked player in singles for the Owls. At doubles, Zhang and Lindsey Hodge are ranked No. 31.
Last year, the Bulls faced the Owls in the last regular season match at Rice, and fell 4-0.
Cristina Moros will be in her third year at the helm of after leading the program to an American Athletic Conference Championship in 2017.
