Schilte-Brown Promotes Iban Lopez to Assistant Coach

TAMPA (June 25, 2018) USF women's soccer head coach Denise Schilte-Brown announced the promotion of Iban Lopez to assistant coach of the program.
 
"We are really excited to have retained Iban on staff," said Schilte-Brown. "He is an expert tactician with incredible passion for the game. We're looking forward to the season and continuing to build the program together."
 
Lopez spent the 2017 championship season serving as a tactician for the team. He helped develop the soccer game model as well as tactical game plans and provided analysis of opponents and players. He was crucial in the adaptation of training methodology and preparation for training.
 
Lopez possesses 20 years of experience coaching in Spain and the U.S. and attained a UEFA Pro license in 2016. He arrived at USF in 2016 as a volunteer after serving as the director of soccer academy at CD Conxo in Spain.

Denise Schilte-Brown. The Bulls made their first NCAA tournament appearance in 2010 and returned in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
