Bulls to Host USF Invitational Saturday at The Claw

TAMPA, OCT. 3, 2019 – The USF cross country team makes its return to action Saturday at 7:35 a.m. when the Bulls host the USF Invitational at The Claw.

USF last competed Sept. 14 and saw freshman Alexandra Weir (Toronto, Ontario) place sixth at the Mountain Dew Invitational in Gainesville, Fla. On the men's side, fellow freshman Alec Latzke (Safety Harbor, Fla.) was the team's top finisher by taking 30th-place in the 8K race.

About USF Cross Country
Erik Jenkins is in his first season as the head coach of USF cross country. The history of USF's women's program consists of five conference and two region championships as well as five NCAA qualifying teams. The USF men's program has produced seven conference championships and three NCAA qualifying teams.
