Bulls Set for American Athletic Conference Championship
TAMPA, OCT. 31, 2019 – The USF cross country team competes for a conference supremacy on Friday at 10 p.m. (CT) when the Bulls travel to Memphis, Tenn., to take part in the American Athletic Conference Championship from Shelby Farms Park.
The men's 8K race begins at 10 a.m. (CT) and will be followed with the women's 6K race at 10:50 a.m. (CT).
USF closed the regular season Oct. 11 at the FSU Invitational in Tallahassee, Fla. Freshman
Alexandra Weir (Toronto) placed 13th overall with a time of 18:08.9 in the women's 5K race to register a new personal best time, surpassing her previous best of 18:17.50 she posted Sept. 14 at the Mountain Dew Invitational. Â
Fellow freshman
Alec Latzke (Safety Harbor, Fla.) was the top finisher for the men by placing 60th overall with a time of 26:29.3 in the 8K race.

About USF Cross Country
Erik Jenkins is in his first season as the head coach of USF cross country. The history of USF's women's program consists of five conference and two region championships as well as five NCAA qualifying teams. The USF men's program has produced seven conference championships and three NCAA qualifying teams.
