Rollyson Joins Bulls as New Men's Tennis Volunteer Assistant

TAMPA, FEB. 6, 2019 – USF men's tennis has bolstered its coaching staff by adding Rhett Rollyson as the program's new volunteer assistant, head coach
Ashley Fisher announced Wednesday.
"We are very excited to welcome Rhett to the men's tennis family," Fisher said. "He brings a wealth of tennis experience, as well as the ability to add passion and energy to our culture. We are expecting a big year from this group and it's going to be fun to have Rhett onboard."
Rollyson has been involved in the tennis industry since 1996, working for Prince and Babolat in player promotions and sales. The 1994 University of Florida graduate also has been a tournament director for numerous USTA Pro Circuit events and has coached numerous top juniors, including former USF standout
Sasha Gozun.
Rollyson, his wife, Tara, and their sons, Brendan, 15, and Tanner, 13, reside in Plant City, Fla., where Rollyson currently works as an agent for Fearnow Insurance. Rollyson also serves on the board of directors for the Florida Strawberry Festival, South Florida Baptist Hospital Foundation and Plant City Little League.
Fans are welcome to watch USF men's tennis play two home matches this weekend, starting Saturday at 10 a.m. against Stetson. The Bulls will battle Florida Atlantic on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free at the USF Varsity Courts.
