No. 46 Bulls Take on Maryland on Senior Day
TAMPA, March 22, 2019 – The University of South Florida women's tennis team will host Maryland in hopes of continuing its three-game win streak on senior day. USF will honor seniors

Ana Roman Dominguez at 11:45 preceding the noon match.
USF (9-7, 4-0 AAC) is coming off of a 4-3 win over conference opponent Tulsa. Senior No. 46 senior Roman Dominguez (Burgos, Spain), clinched the Bulls' largest comeback of the season, with a 4-6, 6-4, 7-6(6), win on court one. She is now 11-2 on the season with five of these wins over ranked opponents.
Freshman
Laura Pellicer Perello (Gandia, Valencia, Spain), heads into this week on a seven game winning streak, with four of these wins coming on court four, two coming from court three, and one coming on court five. Five of these wins have come in straight-sets. Pellicer Perello is now 9-6 on the season.
Sophomore
Alexandria Mjos (Austin, Texas), is coming into this match with a win under her racquet after she beat Marina Davtyan (Tulsa), on court six 6-3, 4-6, 6-2. She is now 1-1 on the season on court six.
The pairing of freshman
Amelie Boy (Trianon, Mauritis), and Roman Dominguez are 6-4 in doubles, with their latest victory being a 7-5 win on court two over Tulsa's pairing of Martha Matoula and Manon Meulenberg.
Scouting the Opponent:
Maryland
Maryland (3-9) is coming into this match after losing to Wisconsin, 4-0. The Terrapins have a 1-2 record in the Big 10, with that 6-1 win coming against Rutgers. Maryland's Millie Stretton is 5-3 with a 3-2 record at the No. 2 spot and a 2-1 record at the No. 3 spot. The pairing of Eva Alexandrova and Stretton are 5-5 at the premier doubles spot.
