ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., March 4, 2019 – The USF women's sailing team had another strong showing to start the spring slate with a fourth place finish at the Eckerd Intersectional over the weekend.
The coed event featured 15 schools, as USF was one of the few all-female teams competing. The Bulls only trailed the winners, Jacksonville University, Eckerd and Florida State.
USF finished first at the USF Women's Intersectional to open the year two weeks ago and now has three-straight to-five finishes dating back to the final event of October.

"Both Sam Kappaz and Chloe Sweeting will be an integral part of our team in the upcoming years when our super-crews Darby Capellin and Rachel Yannelli graduate this May," said Jolly.
