Spring Game to Feature Fan Pro Day; Game Streamed Live on The Identity Tampa Bay

TAMPA, APRIL 1, 2019 – The USF Spring Game presented by USF Federal Credit Union will feature a Fan Pro Day outside Corbett Stadium on the USF campus prior to the 1 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, April 13.
 
24685The game will once again be streamed live and on-demand on The Identity Tampa Bay, the sports and lifestyle digital hub for all things Tampa Bay. The game can be viewed through the TheIdentityTB.com website, on iOS and Android apps, and also on Roku and Apple TV (see further information at the bottom of the page). The game will also be simulcast on the USF Radio Network (820 AM in Tampa/iHeart Radio - Bulls Unlimited channel). Coverage will begin at 12:30 p.m.
 
FAN PRO DAY & PRE-GAME ACIVITIES
Prior to kickoff, fans of all ages can take part in eight skills testing stations and five display areas that will be part of Fan Pro Day starting at 11 a.m. on Elm Drive outside Corbett Stadium. Fans can be timed in 40-yard dash, test their vertical and broad jumps, do the shuttle run and test their throwing accuracy, field goal kicking and agility among the many stations. Display areas will include a Bulls uniform try-on, an opportunity to learn X's and O's game strategy, a meet the team wall and more.
 
Food trucks, a kids zone with inflatables, DJ music, a pre-game beer garden for fans 21 years and older, photo zones and numerous sponsor activations will also make pre-game activities outside Corbett Stadium fun for all ages. A jump by the SOCOM Para-Commandos will take place prior to kickoff.
 
Football season ticket members will enjoy an exclusive beer garden as well as opportunities to win prizes and raffle items throughout the day.
 
The spring game, which has drawn capacity crowds the past four seasons to Corbett Stadium, is free to the public. Normal pregame tailgating activities will be allowed in campus lots. Fans are also encouraged to bring blankets and utilize seating areas on the grass berms surrounding the playing surface as a large crowd is expected.
 
SPRING GAME PARKING AND ROAD ACCESS
USF Elm Drive will be closed on game day. Fans are encouraged to access campus via Bull Run Drive from Fowler Ave. to park in the Yuengling Center lot 22F or North 50th Street to park in Lot18T on Sycamore Drive. Normal pregame tailgating activities will be allowed in campus lots.
 
Fans will get their first look at a 2019 Bulls team that returns 16 starters (9 offense, 5 defense, 2 specialists) from a 2018 squad that reached the program's fourth straight bowl game. USF's third season under head coach Charlie Strong will feature a new offensive coordinator in Kerwin Bell, who led Valdosta State to an NCAA Division II national championship with the nation's top scoring offense (52.0 ppg) last year.
 
USF football season tickets for the 2019 season are now available to the public and may be secured by visiting USFBullsTix.com or by calling 1-800-Go-Bulls.  In-person sales will also take place at USF Spring Game on April 13.
 
ABOUT USF FOOTBALL
In just its 22nd season of football, and 19th at the FBS level, the USF football program has earned 10 bowl appearances, including a current run of four straight, and owns a record of 6-3 in bowl games. The Bulls have appeared in the national top 25 rankings in each of the past three seasons, including a program record run of 20 straight weeks in the top 25, and in 2018 reached the program's 150th win faster than any FBS program in state of Florida history. USF has posted a pair of 10-plus win seasons in the last three years, including a program-record 11 wins (11-2) in 2016, and logged 15 winning seasons overall. Since first taking the field in 1997, the USF program has reached as high as No. 2 in the national rankings (2007), seen 30 players selected in the NFL Draft, 14 named All-American and 29 earn first-team all-conference selection.
