TAMPA, Sept. 20, 2019 – No. 10/22 South Florida women's soccer kicks off a three-game homestand Saturday as Texas Tech visits Corbett Stadium in the Bulls' last nonconference matchup of the year. USF is coming off a 26-day road trip, where it swept opponents to carry a four-game win streak into Saturday's matchup.

USF (5-1) had a tough test on Sept. 15 against Wake Forest, taking down the Demon Deacons, 3-2, behind two goals from Evelyne Viens (Quebec, Canada). Katie Kitching (Bedale, England) also scored her first goal of the season in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Viens earned American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second week in a row. The senior was also named to the honorable mention list for TopDrawerSoccer's Team of the Week. The win at Wake Forest pushed South Florida into its highest ranking in program history. TopDrawerSoccer placed the Bulls at No. 10 in the nation, beating the program's previous high of No. 11 set last season.
