  • Kerine BlackFirst track and field member to be inducted into the USF Athletic Hall of Fame (2010).
  • Track and field jumps and sprints standout from 1997-2001.
  • Five-time All-American in three events (triple jump, long jump, 4x100 relay) and posted 12 NCAA qualifying marks.
  • Named to Conference USA All-Decade Team in 2004-05.
  • Three-time C-USA Athlete of the Year.
  • USF Athlete of the Year (1999-2000).
  • Won nine different C-USA events and set the league's record in the triple jump.
  • Indoor school records: 60 meters (7.37, 2000), long jump (21-10, 2000) and triple jump (44-0.75, 2000).
  • Outdoor school records: long jump (21-4) and triple jump (44-3.5), 4x100 relay (44.37, 2000) and 4x200 relay (1:34.54, 2000).
  • Other USF top-10 rankings: indoor - 200 meters (24.68, seventh); outdoor - 100 meters (11.45, second), 200 meters (23.45, third), 400 meters (54.41, third).
  • Was part of the 4x100 relay team that finished eighth in the NCAA Championships in 2000.
  • Walked onto the track and field team in 1997 and was at the NCAA Championships by 1999.

  • Grew up in Jamaica and moved to the United States when she was 16 years old to finish high school in Fort Pierce, Fla.
  • Followed in her mom's footsteps as a talented track and field athlete.
  • Her son has gained a strong interest in his mom's sport.

About USF Track and Field
The USF track and field team has produced 22 All-America selections since 2008 and at least one All-American in nine of the last 11 years. 2016 graduate Matthew O'Neal is USF's first six-time NCAA All-American. USF has posted two NCAA runner-up finishes since 2013 - O'Neal (triple jump, 2016) and Courtney Anderson (high jump, 2013). The Bulls hosted the 2018 NCAA Track and Field East Preliminary at the USF Track and Field Stadium.
