Bulls Sign Manuel Gonçalves for Spring 2021
TAMPA, JUNE 11, 2020 – USF men's tennis announced the addition of Manuel Gonçalves to the 2020-21 roster on Thursday.
"Manuel is a very impressive young man whose values are closely aligned with those of our program. We are excited to have him join the family and continue growing our culture," mentioned head coach, Ashley Fisher.
Gonçalves (Porto, Portugal) is the current Portuguese national U18 champion in singles and doubles. The junior has been on the courts since the age of four and is ready to compete at the collegiate level.
"He is a high character individual and also has exceptional tennis skills," continued Fisher. "We are looking forward to building on the success and momentum that has been created as we move the program forward towards more aggressive goals".
