Bulls Open Indoor Season with Trip to Houston
TAMPA, JAN. 28, 2021 – The USF track and field team raises the curtain on the 2021 indoor season this weekend when the Bulls travel to Houston, Texas, to take part in the #HTownSpeedCity Series at Yeoman Fieldhouse.
Competition begins Friday at 11 a.m. (EST) with the weight throw and concludes at 3 p.m. (EST) with the triple jump.
Running events begin Saturday with the 60-meter dash at 1:15 p.m. and wrap up at 3:50 p.m. with the women's 4x400 meter relay.
"We have an opportunity to compete and that is something we have been unable to do in almost a year," head coach
Erik Jenkins said. "This trip to Texas will provide us with a quality chance to execute our training and evaluate areas needed for improvement. I am excited for our student-athletes and staff."
